I have a few cards that have blank card board backs. Is there a blank back version of this set?

No. Topps had several sheets each year miss the backs (and fronts sometimes too, but they weren't usually in packs). I found several blank backs in packs over the years. They are not listable here.

If the players on front have their head photos inside the black box (not overlapping it), they are from a test set and pretty desirable. A few players have their head images swapped on front.

The hats of the players overlap the black box. I have five cards with plain card board backs. I don't collect them and was hoping to list them. But they don't do that here. If anyone wants these, LMK.

I don't understand the misconception that cards with printing flaws can't be cataloged here. They don't get a *separate* entry in the database like a variation or parallel card, but they can be tracked just like cards with TTM autos or condition problems.
From the list above, the Scott McGregor card is this card:
https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/98/cid/33360/1984-Topps-260-Scott-McGregor?PageIndex=1
The printing flaw (blank back) just needs to be noted in the comments of your entry's details.

It works fine to do this for collection purposes, but it doesn't work out so well for items on trade list.

I would be interested in the McGregor card. There are several items on my want list that you have, but I don’t have anything on your want list. Is there something I have that might interest you in a trade?

I would sure be interested in any of the Expos cards having a blank back. So far, I have found two, neither of them are of the inside-the-box proofs.
- Doug Flynn (#749)
- Mike Vail (#766)
I would also be quite happy to find these cards from players in their pre or post Expos years:
- Andy McGaffigan (#31) - San Francisco Giants
- Ken Singleton (#165) - Baltimore Orioles
- Larry Parrish (#169) - Texas Rangers
- Ellis Valentine (#236) - California Angels
- Mike Jorgensen (#313) - Atlanta Braves
- Tim Foli (#342) - California Angels
- Hubie Brooks (#368) - New York Mets
- Tony Perez (#385) - Philadelphia Phillies
- Steve Renko (#444) - Kansas City Royals
- Denny Martinez (#631) - Baltimore Orioles
- Vance Law (#667) - Chicago White Sox
- Pascual Perez (#675) - Atlanta Braves
- Dick Williams (#742) - San Diego Padres

Generally speaking, blank back cards are mistakes during the printing process and not all that common. I did pull a Jim Palmer blank back out of a pack years ago. You can even find some blank front cards occasionally.
The one exception I'm aware of are the 1988 OPC baseball sets. Blank backs are fairly common and I was able to put together an Orioles team set quite easily. I'm not sure they should be added to tcdb, but baseballcardpedia includes them.

Comments using the "Detailed Add" or "Edit Details" on For Sale/Trade list items are viewable to potential partners if one accesses their For Sale/Trade list using the listing member's Collection link on their profile page.
But you cannot see the comment on matched lists.
