Does anyone have any evidence to indicate that the Gold parallel set actually exists?

This is the info that Beckett lists for it:
"This parallel set to the basic issue Super Shots Hendrick set features gold foil highlights on the cardfronts. They were distributed in complete factory set form in a wooden box along with 2-memorabilia cards and three autographed cards. Reportedly, 100-Gold factory sets were produced."
For the Silver set, they say basically the same thing except no MEM (replaced with 2 silver-banner cards) and only 1 AU with 500 sets reportedly made. They have no pictures for either set.

Beckett is wrong (big surprise there) as my silver set came with memorabilia cards.
The outer box has no indication if you are getting a silver set or not. In fact, I didn't even know there was a base version until much later. The one card that lists all the wins does not have any silver foil. I can't remember off the top of my head if it was SN or not, but mine are scanned and posted here. If you note, the set has matched serial numbers among the cards.
I don't know if a gold set exists or not.

I did some minor digging and could not find a gold version for sale, including in the sold out section, on COMC. If they are limited to 100, or less since I don't trust Beckett, that is really not definitive proof, since this is a pretty rare set.
I did, however, discover that there is a promo card that we did not have listed, so I added that one.

I know it is hard to prove non-existence, but I can't help but wonder, if the only 'evidence' of this set is a Beckett checklist, should it even be listed here before we have more reliable information?

I wouldn't remove for one simple reason. If someone out there does have a set and comes here to find it, but then they don't find it listed, there's a good chance they don't even mention it. Who's to say there aren't several of them holed up in a forgotten collection somewhere. When I got that huge auction haul in 2018, there were all kinds of sets in there that I didn't even know existed and they weren't even rare sets. Today's collectors don't feel like 100 copies is rare anymore, but they really are for cards older than the past decade. Heck, I'm still searching for several SN100 holofoil parallels from the 2009 Press Pass flagship set. And I have yet to even see half of the ones I'm missing.

While I have not posted any of my collection to the TCDB inventory I have extensive knowledge of the 2001 Super Shots sets (they come in base Bronze, Silver and Gold (#/100). Very Difficult to find the gold set as it came in a numbered wooden box (#/100) had a RU hat (#/100 JG or TL), 10 autograph cards (some simulated as some drivers was deceased #/100). I got extensive information direct from the major seller on ebay (sawturn) for everything that existed in this set. There is artist proof sets (#/24), printer proof sets (#/20) and various other cards numbered even lower in my collection. AS a TL collector I did not get everything I ever wanted out of this product but have extensive knowledge (70 lines in a EXCEL SS dedicated to what exists). Most of the sets gold/artist proof were purchased from UD directly by Hendrick Motorsports (distributed among employees) and that is the reason you cant find them on ebay/COMC/Worthpoint. iceiron5
