2009 Bowman Draft Picks Football Forum

Neither this card #52, Jonathan Stewart (https://www.tradingcarddb.com/Person.cfm/pid/12900/col/1/yea/2009/Jonathan-Stewart?sTeam=&sCardNum=&sNote=&sSetName=&sBrand=), nor the set it belongs to, 2009 Bowman (https://www.tradingcarddb.com/ViewResults.cfm?q=2009%20Bowman&Type=Football) are to be found on this site! What's up with that?

The set was actually called Bowman Draft Picks.

Ditto to SDC's reply. Once again he jumps me by answering a question where I already knew the answer. I even have that card in my PC, so the answer was in my head as soon as I saw the scans. Good work (as always) SDC!

Thanks for the help, guys. I was confused on this because there is a chrome version of the set that is called just Bowman Chrome -  not Draft Pricks Chrome.

Don't ya love it when card companies tweek the name of their product just a teeny weenie bit? Like when Panini bought the rights to Donruss, Leaf, Playoff, et al? Leaf Certified in paticular was especially confusing going form Leaf Certified to Donruss Certified to Panini Certified. It still throws me off when I look up cards.

Same here. I was thinking "What the HECK? Why don't they have the Flagship set? This is a big one because Bowman has been the flagship name brand for so long w/out the "Draft Picks" added or technically "NFL Draft Picks". Sometimes I think we need links with the common goto names that go to the correct set. You search for "2009 Bowman" with out anything extra and it goes to this set. Seems all the other Bowman products for the year are more straight forward. I still get thrown for loops with Topps Finest listed without "Topps" and Upper Deck products switching between "Upper Deck" and "UD". Also "Draft" sets that are mostly Vets drive me nuts NVT NUTS

What is worse is when they have a different name on the card then the release name.
