1961 Nu-Cards Baseball Scoops Baseball Forum

On the back of the card, 2nd printed column, it reads that "named Ted Williams hit 3:"      That's a 3 followed by a colon, not the number 1.   At first I thought it was just bad ink on my card but I checked Ebay and the ones there are the same as mine.    If anyone would like to double check  me,  please do and feel free to note the error.

I look at all images on comc, I'd say not a colon.  The dots are too high and too low and too spread apart.  I looked a very large image on comc and compared the dots to a numeral "1".  It looks like the the very left tips of the "1" numeral used in other parts of the text.  I'd say an UER stating should read "...who hit 31"

If you look at the zoomed image I linked you'll see a lot of printing flaws. Not sure if their plates were crap or debris was rampant in their printing plant.
