Let me preface this by saying I know nothing about these cards, so I'm not asking from a place of knowledge.
The backs of these cards say "© TCMA Ltd. 1982-xx". Whaere does the 1987 come from?

Looks to me like they reprinted their 1982 set in 1987. Not sure how to tell them apart.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

The MLB logo on the back. They didn't use that until 1987.

I remember being able to buy binders with 9 slot pages from Hobby Lobby and these cards would fill one side of the top page.

Seems to me the "1982-" should be the card number prefix.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

For reprint sets shouldn't there be some sort of link to the original set?

TCMA reprinted 4 sets in 1987, and all are classified here as oddball instead of reprints. Should that be changed? Is the reprint of an oddball still an oddball, or is it a reprint first?

Seems like it's the copyright date, (c) TCMA, Ltd. 1982 -[Card #]
