What does ASG represent? All Star Game?
Thanks,
~Patrick

~ Patrick Please Please Please read my profile before making a trade proposal. My "wants" for my Cardinals collection is accurate from 1900 - 2008. I still have about 12,000Plus Cardinals cards from 2009-present to sort through and enter. Please do not offer any Cardinals cards from 2008-present unless you contact me first as there is a chance I already have it amongst the multitude to still go through. I still have about 30K Cardinals duplicates that are not yet entered in the database as FS/FT. "For the love of the game"

FYI: If you go to the Resources column, at the bottom of the page, there is a heading for Glossary. Clicking on that will give you a lot, if not all, the abbreviations.

And if it doesn't, I'm in the process of trying to add them all (at least for baseball)!

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

I know the Glossary defines thes the abbreviations that appear in the Notes field, but does it define abbreviations that are in the set name?

That is incorrect. ASG stands for All Star Gallery.

The Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards has them listed as "All-Star Gallery"

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

ASG is "All-Star-Gallery". I scanned in the box for that specific set and that is what it says. Click on "Packaging" Also check the comments where I wrote "The box says 1993 Series 1. The 1992 cards came in this box."
