Is there a way to identify the California Angels' bat boy in the picture on sticker #384 with Bo Jackson, Benito Santiago and Wade Boggs? I've done some casual internet searching for bat boys working for the Angels in 1989, but haven't found anything helpful.

If it helps at all, the photo is from the 1989 MLB All-Star Game.
I tried to locate a list of Bat Boys from the game, but couldn't find a list. Thinking it would be a reliable source, I checked the program from the 1989 ASG; it has team trainers and other (honorary) staff listed, but no mention of Bat Boys unfortunately.

oh now I'm curious too! I was the Twins batboy from 2004-2010 and am in the background of a few cards but never in focus and in full like that.

This looks like the same guy sitting on the white bucket in the background. Still not helpful, but another sighting.

Sometimes the batboys are the team family member usually a son or grandson of MGT. Barry Bonds had his son as a bat boy which comes to mind. Just a thought see if you can find some pictures online with the players son for the year in question

Maybe either of these archived articles from LA Times can help:

Okay, so my sister-in-law dated one of the batboys Bryan James in HS. She said the batboy pictured on the Panini Sticker is John Van Dyke, and that a third batboy was Brady Ballentine. They all were going to Liberty Christian School at the time. I still have a DIck Schofield bat that Bryan had given me.

Do you have PowerBall numbers for tomorrow nights drawing? Because this is the most random message board save to an obscure question about bat boys from 30 years ago I’ve ever seen.
