How should we handle the team linking for these variations? For example, card 150 (a) is for Cal Ripken, correctly linked to the Orioles. The card also name links to Mike Greenwell, since this is the variation with that back. However, without also linking to the Red Sox somehow the DB treats the Mike Greenwell link as him playing for the Orioles as well, which is of course incorrect.

Seeing as the backs are a seperate set, I would say that Greenwell shouldn't be linked to it at all.

As long as Mike Greenwell is linked it needs his team linked also. Otherwise Mike Greenwell will remain linked to Baltimore Orioles. It needs to be decided and fixed one way or the other. Since just about everyone treats these stickers and backs as a single unseparateable item, then both names and both teams need to be listed.

This has been a project a few of us have been working on. If teams or players that are listed in Note2 are not linked, please either get them linked, or send in an IR. Thank you.

Is it possible to add a second team link without having multiple teams in the team field?

Nick,
at one point with these sets it was. I think Admin has to "flip a switch" to allow it. Again, an IR will help because if it cannot be done by a L8, the IR can be commented upon, and then sent along to Admin. Thanks.

Im not sure if I am asking the right question or if it has been answered before but....
When I pull up an individual team (Cardinals), I get all of the cards (essentially the sticker fronts) of Cardinals. However, not the cards that have a Cardinals Super Star back on them (in this case Ozzie Smith the only Cardinal back this year) Ie... 1989 Topps Stickers - Cardinals
For the 1988 Topps Sticker set, I could pull up a team (Cardinals) and both - cards with Cardinals on the front side (stickers) and cards of other teams but have a Cardinal Super Star back would show up. Ie...1988 Topps Stickers - Cardinals
I hope this makes sense?!?

If the link to the back team has been destroyed, they won't show up.
Enter an IR. I have too many things going on to remember this, and maybe someone else will be able to handle it. The whole set will need to be reviewed.

The same would have to be done for 1988 and 1990 as well. Then there's O-Pee-Chee ...
