should we assume (not the sire preferred method) all cards exist in both and combine CL's? They do all exist in both white and grey back. The grey backs were produced and distributed in a regional area (I believe in the Ottawa Valley) and are much rarer. They are actually separate sets issued in their own packs.
Could we add a var note either gray or white back for each card and leave 2 CL's? No need to add a VAR note for either. The grey back is in the name of the grey back set.
Should we shrink the gray back CL to what is known and proven with back images but also add a var note of gray? No. The whole set was produced in grey back.
Currently when one of these cards shows in a trade there is no indication of which color back it is and I have this feeling I may have sent the incorrect var. It does show in the title of the set if it is the grey back. At most, I would rename the base set as "1981 O-Pee-Chee - White Back".
Shocked to see who uploaded all the front images without the backs. I am starting to wonder if "iffie99" created a new account under this ID.
