This is just to contribute to general knowledge of the issue that jymotion is pointing out in the hopes of not having these types of issues in the future.
1st edition and non-english language Pokemon sets should be stand-alone sets.....they are not inserts or parallels to any other set. They have different packaging, different release dates, different card markings, and diffirent distribution locations.
Pokemon sets have only one parrallel set and TCDB calls it "Reverse Holo" (some collectors call them foil, reverse foil, etc.) Every expansion set since the "Legendary Collection" (2002) has a Reverse Holo parrallel set and this is the only parallel set in Pokemon. Prior to 2002 Pokemon sets did not have any parallels.
Since I'm ranting , Pokemon sets also do not have any inserts. There are no inserts in Pokemon. There are promotional cards (those given away at movie openings, game stores, tournaments, etc.) and there are "Exclusives" (TCDB lists them as Promos) that are included in specific products as an incentive to buy that product (a holo version of a card in a 3-pack blister, or an alternate art in a collector's tin for example) but there aren't any inserts.
Of course, there are probably examples that will prove me wrong. I'm used to being wrong. But I think those are pretty general rules and if you find yourself ever wanting to add an insert or parralel set to a Pokemon set, I encourage you to pause and do a little research first.
Thanks for letting me have the soapbox for a minute and happy collecting!
My two-cents is worth slightly more than a penny.
