2014 Topps Baseball Forum

As I am adding a ton of inserts to my trade page, I have come across one that has me fooled.  2014 Topps Spring Fever Prince Fielder SF-12  On the site here it shows the card front as him facing the left side of the card in his Tigers uniform and the card is listed as a Tigers card.  The front I have is him facing the right side of the card and in his Rangers uniform.  The back of mine matches the back of the card on the site, listing him as the Texas Rangers. 

This one has me confused, any thoughts?

That front image is a mock up and is not permitted on this site. I have submitted the IR to get that image removed.

Cool, thank you!   What is a "mock up" mean?  

A mock up is what card companies do (other graphic design areas will do it as well) where they will make a computer generated image to show what the card will look like. So it shows where the Topps logo will be on the front, but it doesn't show it in foil like the actual cards. We have had issues with this over the course of many years and Admin is definitely against the use of these (as oftentimes, the pictures used differ from the mock up, and in other cases, they sometime change up the graphical elements). Definitely a site no-no. :)

Thanks Dan! I should start figuring out my scanner and try to get the correct image uploaded for that one, I have noticed I have some others that don't have images yet either that I could upload. As soon as I figure out how to do it :) 

Since my scanner is hooked up, I went ahead and uploaded the correct image. If the page still displays the old image for you, press crtl-F5 on that page, and that should fix it. (It did for me.)
