2013 Score Football Forum

How does one tell if he has the "retail" version or not.  I cannot tell the difference.  If anyone knows, I would love to be educated.

Hobby cards are all supposed to have a red/orange color scheme. Retail cards use team colors scheme.

Hobby on top; Retail on bottom.  And yes both checklists in the database are screwed up with wrong images.

Ugh.  I never noticed this one had hobby/retail variations.  So hard to catch.  I probably uploaded some of those wrong images.  Sometimes I think it isn't even worth the bother of putting my collection on here.  I've already thrown away two years of work and started over once...

The card on the left is similar to RoyalChief's avatar.  I guess that is the hobby version of his avatar.

Thanks for the info guys.  Adding football cards seems a bit more taxing and confusing then baseball cards.

Crisis averted...I just went to start transferring my hobby cards to retail, and discovered that I misread the whole thing.  I thought these were base cards.  They're inserts!  I only have three of these!  The base set doesn't have a hobby/retail.  Only these inserts.  I have nothing to worry about.  What a relief.

The Rookies have different colors. Base are green. There are Red and Blue parallels, and I think Purple only come autographed.  As far as base parallels, watch out for Scorecards. They have the same white border.

Whoever is uploading different versions like that, especially for the initial CL upload and / or first scan.. be nice to add that in the "release notes" so anyone about to add after the fact understands the difference.

Yes, it would be nice if checklist uploaders did a COMPLETE job. Too many do the cut & paste, upload, and run when it comes to checklists.  Leaving it to someone else to clean it up.

Release Notes are a very helpful tool that is extremely underused.  Even after a Mystery forum post about identifying differences is solved, the Release Note isn't added/updated.  Leading to history repeating itself.

My bad on this one. I assumed the original poster would have updated the Release Notes once I explained the difference.
