And along those lines, a Babe Ruth "career" card that uses a photo from his one season with the Boston Braves. Seems silly to link it to just the Boston Braves.
These types of "career spanning" cards can be difficult. To me the subject is the player's entire career. The HOF doesn't induct based on a single season, but an entire career. And each collector has a different perspective. Some want the card because the player at some time in their career played on their favorite team, regardless of the uniform in the picture. Other collectors only want it if it shows them in their favorite team's uniform. Personally, I don't mind them being linked to every team they played with during their career. Even though the HOF inducts under one team, they include all teams on their plaques.

Personally I think cards such as this should be listed as the team shown in the image. While some of the older ones are harder, an image search online can usually turn up information that aids in that.
But to me, it makes no sense to have, for example, a card showing Reggie Jackson in an Angels uniform, but labeling the team as “New York Yankees” because he was inducted as a Yankee or his one stat line is for a season with the Yankees.
I’m not sure if we have a precedence on this site already for these, because I do seem to remember it coming up before. But that’s my opinion.
Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
