COMC is selling this card with the same store stamped on the back - different stamp was used on mine, but it's the same company.
We have different card listed as #1 in this set that COMC also is selling.
I know TCMA is handled differently because of the way their product was distributed, sold, reprinted, or whatever.
I'm just wondering if this would qualify as a "1a" VAR, or an NNO promo.

A secondary question, is this one of those never meant to be distributed or even, cringe, BUG cards, that just so happens to have the same frontal design as the 1980 set? There are others without the stamp. The front picture is of more interest to me than the blank back. Just wondering.

Makes sense as some without stamps are also available. I've reached out to the seller to see if he has some documentation to show that because I'm not certain his word would suffice. Coincidently this seller is from Springfield, Massachusetts.

Got this reply from a seller of these blank back cards:
I had asked him if he had any documentation to see if this card needed to be added or not.

Andrew Aronstein (of TCMA) says these are not from TCMA.

In my on-going research it seems that this set was once referred to - even with TCDB under the previous website (tradingcarddb.com) - as 1980 Seckeli Superstars set. Not sure what happened to make the change.

I just purchased card #11 (Ted Williams / Stan Musial / Willie Mays) and the seller had it listed as 1980 Seckeli Superstars.

rmpaq5 changed it to TCMA in 2019. There's no copyright or company name on these. I think they should be changed back to "1980 Superstar" under Unlicensed. How were they determined to be 1980?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
