Has anyone got information on a jim perry #500 that has peen double printed with heavey shadows  like ghosting?

I also have an 1988 nolan ryan that has the same type print issue only it is up and down instead of side to side.

is it possible it was just printed out of focus /mis aligned since the process is multiple steps with the colors added one at a time ???

It looks like the old 3-d type cards with the same image on there multiple times.  Like, there's the photo with a red shadow, yellow shadow and a green shadow to the left of the image.

You are pretty much describing my #570 card (Jim Palmer)..............it does have a "3-D" feel to it, but I'm inclined to agree with pinkpony1967 that it was printed out of focus, not a variation.
 

The term is "registration misalignment" or "out of register". One or more of the colors printing plates were not properly aligned (registered) when printed. It can cause an "out of focus" effect.
