What are your primary collecting goals for 2016?  Here are a few of mine:

Priority 1 (very likely to succeed)

1969 Topps Baseball card set (over 90% now)

1962 Topps Baseball card set (over 90% now)

1950 Bowman Baseball card set (missing 1)

Priority 2 (not out of the question; maybe)

1968 Topps Baseball card set (almost 90% now)

1966 Topps Baseball card set (almost 90% now)

1954 Topps Baseball card set (over 90% now)

Priority 3 (would be nice, but don't hold your breathe)

1960 Topps Baseball card set (over 60% now)

1956 Topps Baseball card set (about 35% now)

1955 Topps Baseball card set (about 40% now)

1951 Topps series "B" baseball card set (Blue Backs)

I'd love to finish 1971 Topps baseball, but I don't think I'll get there. Same for 1970. I'll add to both, and then just have fun adding to other years. Maybe get to 75% of 1968 & 1969. Maybe get a card from the 40's and a card from the 30's. 

And I want to finish looking through all my cards. From July to December, I got through 2002. I like to keep enjoying them, so they don't just get put away and forgotten.

Same as  Vvvergeer but Will be more likely a yes for me on the 71 set. Won't complete anytime soon but also working on a 2014 Topps with paralels and inserts, as well as a 55' Bowman set.

Only realistic goals:

• 2016 Topps set
• 2015 Topps Gold set completion (62% for Series 1&2, 78% for update series)
• I hope to get at least 1 of the 4 Phillies Topps cards I'm missing in the 1960s that keeps me from being complete from 1956 to present day
• A couple of the 1955 (Topps & Bowman) Phillies that I don't have

Pipedreams:

• A pre-gum (T206?) Phillies card (any player, any condition)
• Complete the partial 1972 set
• Upgrade the really poor-condition cards in the 1973-1977 sets I just acquired this past year (this might have the best chance in this section)

Non-purchasing goals:

• To get all my HOFer cards in pages
• Sheet all the 1970s sets I just got
• To sell or trade off my extra 2015 Topps Golds (I have a lot!)
• To reduce my commons by a full monster box (5,000 count)

I've set 10 goals for 2016, in varying degrees of difficulty. I wrote up a detailed blog post which I will post on 1/1. I will then copy the link to it in this thread.

Last year 2015 the only real collecting goal I made was to complete the 1965 Topps Baseball set. Originally my goal was to have it completed by April (the start of the baseball season and my Birthday), but failed on that. Even with a few more cards received from April to now I have failed. I am only at 214/598 (216/600) as of May, plus about 7 or 8 more cards I have not yet added to that total that I got in Oct and Nov.

My only goal is to get all of my cards (not counting doubles) on the database, and all missing images scanned.  Keep in mind, I deleted my entire collection and started over a couple weeks ago because I had several mistakes.  So I have a long way to go.  Once I do get my collection in, I will start adding doubles again and get back to trading with you guys.  I loved doing it, but I mistakenly had numerous cards on my trade list that weren't actually doubles, which is why I started over.  Fortunately, my collection isn't enormous, but the 1/3 of it that wasn't on the site first time around is extremely disorganized.

My aim is to finish getting all the error and variation cards for my NFL Pro Set, if possible all inserts and binders as well but depends on budget, will start going through user lists soon

Up here on th praries it is going to be finding enough work to :

1. Keep the bills paid

2. Keep saving for the kids

3. Keep the wife happy

4. Keep the pets fed

5. Gas in the tank

6. Pay my taxes

7. Keep my sanity .... been trying to quit smoking for three months ... at 40 days nicotine free

8. Decide which to keep doing comics or cards

9. Stress about it

10. Finally admit defeat and keep doing both as my budget allows!!

I would like to complete my KC Royals topps set.  I have all of 1969 and 1977-2015 complete.  Need to do 1970-1976.  I think it can be done in the next 12 months.  Really I think the only high dollar card would be the 75 Brett, but still feasable.
