2008 Upper Deck Baseball Forum

Can anyone confirm whether these two listed insert sets are actually two distinct sets or a misnamed duplicate?  I loaded the 2 images in the Making History one before I saw the other listing.  As you can see, the Making History one is very incomplete in checklist and accurate information (Total Cards 1).  My sources do not list 2 sets but then again, also do not list cards 15 and 16.

According to the Upper Deck website there are 3 insert sets.

Making History Presidential Predictors, 1 card, PP-15 Barack Obama

Presidential Predictors, 8 cards:

Presidential Running Mate Predictors, 12 cards

Since it was a UD Predictor set, and since Obama is the only card in the second set, I would guess the one-card Obama set was the prize for sending in the right Predictor.

And knowing the way Upper Deck does their online checklist listings. It's probably actually only one Insert set not three separate sets.

And if you look at the PP set (not the History set), all of the afore mentioned cards are listed.  Should we delete the History in the Making set?  If a collector tries to collect both listings, he will have duplicates in order to do so.

Yes, I agree. Remove/Delete the "Making History Presidential Predictors" set.
