How can I find out who is (actually) pictured on the 1966 Topps #379 Cardinals team card? Anyone know, or have any idea how to find out? I've contacted Topps, but got no response. Please help.

From what I remember, the teams supplied the photos to Topps for the team cards.
Maybe, there is another photo from 1965 (which is when the photo was probably taken) from the same shoot that identifies all the people in the photo. Otherwise, get out your magnifying glass.

There's no way to tell. You'd have to know exactly when the photo was actually taken.

Yes photos are usually at least a season old. I found the photo used for the card, 1964 team photo.

It might actually be the 1964 team photo. Looking at Google search images of the card and "1965 St. Louis Cardinals team photo". the player on the far left front row has his hand down between his legs which are not spread open wide, the 1965 Topps Team Card has a similar photo except that player is manspreading. Yeah I'm pretty sure the photo is from the 1964 team not '65 team.
EDIT: Oops didn't see that Chuck's post already had the proper photo. Viewing at work the image wasn't showing and I didn't see that the proper year was identified.
Here is an Ebay auction for one of the team photo copies with the player names in the caption.

Way to go, Chuck. I was ready to zoom in on the card and play identify that Cardinal. Now what an I going to do with my time?

You could link the card to each and every player.
I'm kidding, Dan, really, I am!

Actually, Admin is okay with doing that, provided the players are absolutely, positively identified. I personally don't like doing it for one card and not all of the others, but if that's all we have, it might help out another collector, so go for it.
