Why is this card listed as the Phillies?

Yes, it does mention that he was traded to Philly, but that's in the text on the back. Everything else about this card is STL Cardinals. Listed with the Cards on front and back and shown in an STL uniform. Card #103 is exactly the same situation, except that both cards are listed with STL as the team.

Also, I don't agree that this card is a COR card and the other is an ERR card. IMO, they should both be VAR. The traded line in the text missing on 'a' isn't really an error just b/c the 2nd printing of the cards added that single line in the text on the back of 'b'.

The set is locked, so it can only be changed by Admin. I still would have asked the forum about this before changing it though. What do you guys think?

I brought this up a few months ago (there are a couple in this set like this). This is a ridiculous stretch of the guidelines Admin put in place for Team designations. I really have zero desire to add this card to my Phillies collection, and will not chase it.

I completely agree with you and understand why you wouldn't want it. This card was NOT in my wantlist just b/c it's listed as a Philly card, but I DO want that card. I added it to my wantlist when I saw it. If it had 'traded to Phillies' on the front, I could understand someone listing it as such, but I would still want it b/c he's in a Cards uniform. There is zero reason for it to be listed as a Phillies card though.

Just to add fuel to the fire for this debate, the 1966 O Pee Chee has the traded to the Phillies statement, but is listed here as a Cardinal.

I tried to change the team name, but unfortunately I'm at permission level 7, it appears you need 8 and I'm a long way away from 10000 points.  You are correct, both cards should be listed as the Cardinals.  I have submitted a request to change it.  Here are the guidelines:

• The team named on the card is the one that should be associated with the card.

• If a player is wearing a jersey that differs than the team named on the card, the team associated with the card should be the team named on the card.

• If the front of the card indicates that the player has been traded to a new team, the team associated with the card should be the new team.

Thanks for requesting the change. I am Level 8, but I can't change it either. The set is locked, so only Admin can change anything about it.
