Hi all!
Anyone have an idea what the print run is on the 1995 Upper Deck Baseball series 2 Predictor Silver exchange cards? I know that only one UD series 2 Predictor was a winner, but I can’t find info on the print run for the silver exchange cards anywhere. I know they're rare, but just how rare?

It depends on how many of those inserted game cards were produced, but I don't think that info is available anywhere .... just the insertion rate (one of 30 possible cards inserted 1:30 S2 packs).

And how many were redeemed.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

About ten years back, it was fairly well-known that the 1995 Retail Series Two "prize" cards were of much shorter supply. R30-60, I believe. They would frequently come up on player/set wantlists that I received. Lots of discussion on them in the card forums back then too.

Thank you! They are indeed quite rare. I picked up my David Justice for around $60. I’ll search the forums tonight b/c I’d love to know an approximation of the the s2 print run.

For anyone interested, I’ve come across a little more info in the print run for the S2 silver redemption. #49 Dante Bichette was the only winning game card and its estimated that approximately 100-150 sets were made. The estimates that I came across is from set collectors who have tracked these cards for many years. Still, I’d like to find someone from UD at that time who could confirm or deny the estimated print run.

I believe these to be somewhat rare and/or tough to find but remember that each series of Predictors in 1995 (Hobby S1, Hobby S2, Retail S1, Retail S2) only have one winner. That was the point and why they included a 'Longshot' in each series.
The problem with Retail S2 (gold foil on front), as I understood it, was that interest had drastically dropped off, especially with retail wax, and collectors weren't mailing in the winner card at the same pace they had been with Hobby and series 1 stuff.

That’s pretty much the story I’ve come across after talking to a few set collectors/dealers. The S2 retail silver foil print run has stumped me for years, and I’m finally at a point that I’m able to try to crack this mystery, or at least find a reasonable approximation of the S2 retail silver foil print run. Cross your fingers for me, and thanks for your reply.
