The 2012 Topps set has Derek Jeter #30 listed as a UER (Throwing ball, UER: 3B listed twice on stat line). But when going through my factory set, I dont seem to have that issue on my card. I also see the same Note on #187 Jose Altuve. Should we change these to ERR and then add a COR? The fronts are exacty the same as the ones in the database. I loaded the back images of each card if someone would like to verify that I am not seeing things.
Thanks

I believe there are literally hundreds of these errors from series 1 that were corrected in the factory sets. There is a variation with the pitching backs as well.
I have two sets, one hand collated and one factory, which I was going to go through card by card when I went to put them into 9-pocket pages. At the rate I'm going, it will be this time next year until I would get to it. (stuck in 1991 right now looking for various Donruss and Topps variation cards).

According to this, Altuve and Jeter are the other 2 known cards with this error; the same as the Mantle.

Edit: After re-reading the article, should have been a little more clear....

COR entries for Jeter and Altuve have been added to the checklist
All, let us know if any of the other UERs in Series One were also corrected in the factory set

It's definitely not just those two cards. I broke the seal on my factory set, because now I had to know. The first five cards I pulled out, because of course the factory set is not in order, all had different backs. Batters Josh Bell, Ty Wigginton, and Yonder Alonso have 2B in the factory set and 3B in the packed out set in the doubles column. Pitchers Jon Lester and Derek Holland have BB in the factory set, and W in the packed out set in the Walks column.
Long story short, the answer isn't simple and is going to take a great deal of research and planning. I believe this is exclusive to Series 1, but I cannot be certain until I actually look through all of the cards.
Looking for advice from the L8s as to how best to handle this. One IR for the whole set once I have verified the existence of each? Then I can get to scanning.

Put together a list in numeric order first and see how many there are, then we can decide which way to go. If it's several dozen, it might be easier to just do one IR.

Also, depending on how many it is, it may be best to do the "append" and ask Admin to re-order.

Groaning in advance.
Really though, good detective work.
