I have a NNO trainer card for Lee Slagle of the Vermont Expos that came with the team set. How would/should this card be added to the set?
Thanks.

It is now in the checklist. But this set is quite a mess. Suffixes on cards that have no VAR or ERR cards. TR cards inserted with the team set but a couple added to the end of the checklist not with the team.

We should get Admin to move the Trainers from the end of the set to be with their respective teams. When I had one like that from this set, that is what Admin did.
If this is the set I'm thinking of, the a's and b's are because they wound up overlapping set numbering. The variation is one player or the other. And they numbers are generally not within the teams.
Just like the TCMA sets of the late 1970s that were consecutively numbered but listed as individual sets, I'm wondering if that's how ProSet minor league sets should be handled here as well. That was how they were issued (just like the TCMAs). Food for thought.

Thanks sandyrusty for adding the card. I would also wonder if it would be more appropriate to list the team sets individually. Were these only sold as team sets?
Also, looking at some of those TCMA sets from the 1970's the couple I looked at appear to be numbered incorrectly. The numbering is done alphabetically by last name, but the cards have sequential numbers on the back.

Dan,
I would be in favour of them being listed as team sets. It makes more sense.
Right now, only 2 TR are listed at the end of the set checklist. All the others are with their team.
I understand the a and b cards but they are entered wrong as 1234a instead of 1234 sub a. Nor are they marked as VAR.
This will all take a lot of work. If divided into team sets, then Admin may be able to do it easier than any of us can.

As those TCMA sets are discovered, we're fixing them. Any help in that area is appreciated. Re-number, and then submit a request to re-sort them.

From what I remember, if I rememer correctly, about these sets, they were issued as team sets. And only the first 500 (I think) sets had the NNO Staff cards included.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Well, it would be an error if the checklist stated Card # 1609 is Joe Blow and Joe Blow's cards was # 1608, but when the card matches the checklist, and the the checklists just overlap numbers, that's just kind of a variation of card #1609. They are both correct.
