Would this not be another item that needs fixing? This was not an Insert set, the are actual VAR of the base cards from 1 to 50. Should they not be 1a and 1b and so on??

That sounds like a partial parallel to me, not part of the base set.

I've looked at a few for comparison. And how do you tell the difference between cards of players that always sport a beard?

The Playoff Beard cards have a different photo than the base card. Look at the difference between the Henrik Zetterberg cards. You're mostly looking for the playoff patch on their jersey to see the difference between the two.

Beckett states it's a parallel (partial). Difference, beside photo, is silver text for the player's name instead of the gold that is used for the base set.

Really, there is such a thing as a Partial Parallel set? News on me ..... after this long you can still catch me snoozing. I thought that the VAR guidelines would have solved this but I guess not. Should there be an update to the guidlines stating that Partial Parallels exist and the guidelines used to determine them?

I'd ask Admin how they want to list partial parallels, or at least this one. As a "Parallel" or as an "Insert" or as "VARs".

Partial parallels have been listed as parallels for all the 5+ years I've been a member here. I tried to get Partial Parallel added as an option, but was shouted down.
