This is packed full of amazing rookies and has to be the best group of them. This is why boxes are over $500.

1975 has Brett, Yount, Gary Carter, Jim Rice, Keith Hernandez and others. And sick af borders. Let's use a little perspective here.

1984-85 for the NBA. Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, John Stockton and others. Their Star rookie cards are mostly out of my price range, I do have the Stockton.
1979 for NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt, Terry Labonte, Harry Gant and others. Unfortunately no cards issued at the time.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Once upon a time, you couldn't beat those 1986 baseball update/traded sets. Canseco, Joyner, Clark, Bo, Bonds, Bonilla, Snyder, Galarraga, Incaviglia and Tartabull.

1984 Topps football
Marino, Elway, Dickerson, Long, Stephenson, Tippett, Slater, Andersen, Jackson, Green, Grimm just to name the Hall of Famers.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

84 Topps is a good year for football. I don't think 89 Score can be overlooked though. Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Derrick Thomas, Troy Aikman, Cris Carter and many more.

I’m partial to 83 in baseball. Ryno is my all time favorite player and always enjoyed Gywnn and Boggs. Plus you have Willie McGee and Frank Viola who was lights out in RBI baseball on NES back in the day

There is a great core group, me being partial to Altuve. Time will tell if they will be among the greatest of all time, though. It's still too early.

Agreed Billy! I'd add the 1983-84 Star right behind it. The 1996-97 crop for basketball is quite hefty too.
And yes, 1984 was a great year for football
