I am updating the insert parallels. UD site called it .....
Horizontal Variation Spectrum Patch/Patch
Some places call it Dual Patch, some places call it Jerseys Dual Patch, some use Gold some use Spectrum .... Beckett calls them simply "Jerseys Patch Spectrum (and I am only gathering this by the SN reference that is /15) ...... and so on. It was called "Horitontal Jerseys Patches Gold Spectrum" on here and I have changed it down to "Hortizontal Patches Spectrum" Beckett makes no reference that I can see (in the printed price guide) of Horizontal at all. So ............if the dual jerseys cards are simply called Jerseys then why wouldn't the dual patches just be called Patches. I will leave it as I have it unless it is determined otherwise. Am going loopy!! =P
The SN15 cards were not the horizontal variations I have figured out the horizontals are SN9. So does that mean they should match the verticals in Beckett by calling them "Horizontal Jerseys Patch Spectrum" ???

I think I may have figured out the proper way to list it (them) there are at least 10 parallels. Since the simplest version is called "Jerseys" (because there are two patches). All listings should start with that then from there the descriptives added, so in this case the way I would be I gather is "Jeresys Horizontal Patchs Spectrum" Any input would be great, but gotta go get kid n wife up and ready for the day ............ later.

Sounds good - and is probably the best way to go to help others in identifying what they have. (Even if there are only 20 people who apparently collect hockey!)

Just be sure to use "patches". You misspelled it only once. Blame the kids for rushing you.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Awesome thanks to all 20 of you for trusting in my abilities!! =) Patches Patches Patches!!! Reminds me of a radio skit from way back in the 80s, it was NOT so politically correct and was actually on the AM dial during the day .......... but now I'm just babbling, maybe I'll try to Google it someday.

Ok one more question are we allowed to do this by chance? "Jerseys - Horitontal Patches Spectrum" or "Jerseys - Horizontal Jersey Patch Emerald" The dash is the part I am asking about. Because the second one looks kind of silly without it. And they both look better to me with but I can not recall seeing any others listed that way. ( I will leave the dash out unless told otherwise)
It would be a NO I gather after further review as the DB already adds one between the set name and the insert name .... multiple dashes would not make much sense.

I've put dashes in insert set names in similar situations myself. It doesn't seem to cause any problems. I don't make a habit of it, but there are cases where it makes the listing clearer and allows the sets to sort better. I would say, if it makes the listing easier to follow, go for it!

OK I will go for it Tom, my gut is telling me too and then I looked over a few other sets and have seen it so now that I know you have and I have seen it elsewhere (even in other Artifacts sets) I will fix. Again. =)

Somedays you just need to stop and pause a moment to see the bigger picture. I want to apologize for hassling you all with this set. I for some reason forgot to LOOK at the card to verify everything before my little foray into these insert sets. Low and behold NOWHERE on the cards is there the term "Jerseys". They are simply a short run parallel set of the first 100 cards. Each insert/subset set has a unique feature and/or color and orientation. Hence the reason the UD site read so differently than other places. I own seven of the 16 versions of the Ranford card and can easily verify this fact. So, because of this I have redone the descriptives as I feel best represents these sets. Am I right or wrong, I am not sure ... are they listed like other places, no but are they listed as per site rules I do believe so. Once I have my seven cards scanned and uploaded can somebody please take the time to look at them and tell me if I did this right or wrong. Now I know why I use a hammer 40 hours a week, to beat myself with when needed. =/
