Okay, I promise I'm not stirring up the same pot as the Rookie Coaches thread lol. No, I'm simply wondering about this Chris Sale card. As you can see, it has the RC logo from Topps on it. Other 2011 cards are listed as RCs for Sale. Should this one be as well? I believe it is all base set releases from the designated rookie year, just not inserts, correct?
Note: The RC note was previously not listed. I have added it as I believe that is correct but also want some feedback. My main question here is about what cards get the RC note, all base, or just flagship base (Bowman, Topps, UD, whatever the case...)
As always, thanks in advance.
Jason

Someone can correct me but I think you got it right. Based on previous discussions about RC cards if Topps (or Panini or whoever so long as they are a major card maker) designates a card with their RC logo then it is generally accepted as an RC here on the database.

Perfect. I have found three so far that slipped through the cracks in this set. I'm trying to make it my first set that I fully verify, so I'm going through card-by-card anyway, and wanted to make sure that I was clear on that. Thanks Billy and Capt!

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but I have another question regarding this topic. This Pedro Alvarez card does not have the Topps RC designation on it. Nor does his Bowman or Topps cards from 2011, but they mark his first major league releases (he had some TriStar and Razor released in 2009 and 2010). Thus, this card is still a rookie, correct? The RC note was already added and I wanted to make sure it should still be.
If this should still be a rookie, I might need to go double check some other cards in this base set just to make sure that they are all correct. My thought is that a rookie is a rookie, "RC" card designation be damned. Any other thoughts?
