Anyone that has these cards in their collection, can you tell us what the difference is between the Metal parallel and the Premium Stock parallel? From what I've read, the Metal parallel has a solid "reflective foil" appearance (unlike the patterned "Ice" one) while the Premium Stock is thicker and has a dull gray background, but the scans on this site seem to indicate the opposite. Can someone familiar with these cards please check our scans and see if we have these two reversed?

Premium Stock

Just pulled some out and it appears you are correct in some of the scans are in the wrong place

If it's at all similar to football, your premium stock is going to be your rainbow foil (like a refractor). Your 'metal' is going to be your plain silver foil.

I have what I believe is a Steve Yzerman premium stock. I am of that understanding because it appears to be what is portrayed in the scan, and I have seen others like this on eBay also called Premium Stock. In low light, it appears a silvery-yellowy colour, but in bright light it is a rainbow foil with gold embossing

Is that Yzerman thicker than a usual card or the same?
@Bounty If it's the same as football, then our scans are correct and what I read elsewhere is wrong. That's why I'm confused!

I would say so. About a hair less than double the thickness. Also, a great deal more rigid, as well.

Since I'm the one who scanned in the Yzerman cards, I am of the belief that the Yzerman scans are correct. Any scans of cards that do not match the yzerman in either set would be incorrect.

For what it's worth, based on what I found on other websites when I was trying to ID this card, I am in agreement with Dan
