Hello - was just checking a hand-collated set I have had since issue - noted that almost all the of the Rookie Subset cards - #188-226 have tarnished 'gold' on the left name bar.

Sounds like a natural result of the aging process. Many of the cards from this era have seen this issue occur through either the foil used and/or handling through the years. ------------------------------- My sins have come to face me, I can feel it That I have lived my life in vain And now I know I'll reap the seeds I've sown

Also, just poor foil quality by Skybox. I have yet to find a "clean" foiled version of Denis Pederson's RC. It looks like the gold didn't stick well to the black background of the name plate. Considering Fleer also had problems with "fading" gold foil on Ultra products of that era, not too surprising...
