Admin has advised me that these should be listed as VARs, and I currently have an IR to handle moving the parallel from the English set into the base set, and an e-mail into Admin on how to add the cards to the French set.

Still confused. The Collection Summary page shows the letters. If we remain consistent with the variations, and say "a' is always the Text hologram and "b" is always the logo hologram, how does that make it so you can't tell what's what?

But unless I am missing something in the translation isn't there only 1 parallel set, so one hologram type would presumably be the base set and the other hologram type would be the "var" ?? Yes/No ?

So happy that I don't bother with logo vars and the like. I collect cards. I don't care if logo on back is upside, wrong sport, or if there is one period or two periods after the "inc" or copyright

If you're talking about those messing up the images, it's simply because they aren't paying attention at all, or just think they can get away with uploading images wherever. I'm not sure how that happens.

It appears the 1992-93 Upper Deck Hockey has similar hologram variants. The '92-93 Low series (cards 1-440 and 1st series inserts) have the same UD Logo hologram as 1991-92 High series (UD Logo) and the '92-93 High series (and inserts), including low series cards issued in High packs, have a different "Small UD Text and Logo" hologram. As such, cards 1-440 can be found with either hologram. On the bright side, at least there's not an additional French set. In 1993-94, the holograms are also different between Series 1 and Series 2 but packs only included cards from their own series, so no hologram variations.

~Rob~ Hockey set collector including inserts, ERR, COR, VAR. Knowledgeable about 1968-69 to 1994-95 hockey. All 1990 and newer cards for trade are NRMT. Expect the same in return. 1989 and older are assigned a grade. Everything on my trade list is available for sale. Reasonable prices based on condition. If it's not on my tradelist, it's not available.
