I'm entering 1990-91 Upper deck hockey cards and I am wondering what a comic ball hologram looks like. I've never seen one. Can any one give me any info? Thanks in advance!

The checklist dropdown gives the details.
Pattern on the rink shaped hologram on the back is the words "UPPER DECK" on at least three lines with a line of repeating small "90" and carrots in the gap area, and "UPPER" and "DECK" are aligned in the same direction on each line
Also note all the VARs for 90-91 haven't been entered yet. There's a huge list being added.

Tough to tell from that angle. If you tilt it and see small rounded “90 90 90 90” instead of the larger block font 90 that appears once or twice, that’s usually the indicator. The carrots are behind the 90s and sometimes tough to see.

Here's a page that gives an idea of the different patterns, but he has the hockey sticks and Comic Ball images swapped. The large block 90 is the hockey sticks variation and the smaller 90s is the Comic Ball one.

~Rob~ Hockey set collector including inserts, ERR, COR, VAR. Knowledgeable about 1968-69 to 1994-95 hockey. All 1990 and newer cards for trade are NRMT. Expect the same in return. 1989 and older are assigned a grade. Everything on my trade list is available for sale. Reasonable prices based on condition. If it's not on my tradelist, it's not available.

It is the Comic Ball hologram...the wavy lines that go back and forth must be the carrots. It has the dual rows of 90s which are very hard to see in hand that are associated with the Comic Ball hologram. It's definitely NOT the Hockey Stick hologram or the Baseball hologram, and it's definitely not the 1991 hologram, so it must be Comic Ball.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I'm finding many that have tiny 90s, less than half the size of the normal 90s listed as version A, and have the wavy lines that I think are carrots. Most of them are not listed here yet...am I wrong or the variations not all listed yet? The more I work on this set the less I'm liking it. I've spent more than 2 hours on it today and I'm only on the second page of my currently displaying 100 collection summary, sigh.

That is the "Comic Ball" version, identified by the small "90"s with the "carrots" in the background.
