1990-91 Upper Deck Hockey Forum

It has been confirmed that the first 400 cards of the set ("low numbers") had both holograms (in both the English and the French sets).

As of 2:00 PM EST 12/15/2020, the set is not in the correct order. Admin will need to do a special re-sort (which will put the cards in the correct order and move the letter out of the number field yet allow it to be seen in the checklist) and will create the Variation drop down (with the plus signs in front of each card). I have already submitted the requests for that. This may take a couple days before Admin has the chance to do this. In the meantime, it's perfectly okay to move images from the [a] versions that should be in the [b] versions (which should happen before attempting to add new scans) and add any collection info.

This is a word of caution to all image uploaders to be careful in what you upload. The last thing we want is to be receiving a ton of IRs to remove images that wound up in the wrong set.

I have every card from the high series (#401-550) with the "90 text hologram", (in english) and only a select bunch with the "91 text Hologram". 

In the french set i only have 1 card (#469) from the high series with the "90 text hologram", so they do exist.

1990 upper deck high series 90 hologram

The 1990 hologram usually has a "90" visible, along with the words "UPPER DECK" aligned horizontal with both words the same way up. Both words can be upside down or right side up, but the same. The 1991 hologram is text with the words "UPPER DECK" but each word is not aligned the same way up. For example, if "UPPER" is the right way up, DECK is upside down (and vise versa). Each word is different. Sometimes a small "91" is visible.
