It's probably just a simple miss on my part, but I cannot understand the UER on this card:

The note says, "UER: No Vancouver stats included" but I see Vancouver stats included. I'd appreciate any clarification on this.

Hi split the 1989-90 season between Vancouver and Pittsburgh but the stat line for that season only references Pittsburgh (but includes his full season totals across both teams).

So, the Note2 should read something like, UER: 1989-90 stat line should read "Vancouver/Pittsburgh"

And it appears there were several instances in this set where they did that and the verbiage should be updated to be consistent among all the cards in this set that have this issue.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

So he had 16 Games Played with the Canucks (2 G - 7 A - 9 PTS - 10 PIM) before being traded to the Pens on Jan.8, 1990 as per wikipedia. Those numbers would be the missing stat line, but the trade is mentioned in the bio on the back of the card. To meny errorz in that set, must have been rushed to production. I also notice on this card his entire Boston Bruins stats are missing as well. His Topps & O~Pee~Chee cards show career goal 227 and career assists at an even 400 for 627 points. Talk about opening up a can of worms!

Leaving off the Bruins stats is a design choice. They purposely focused on those specific year shown and left off anything before that. Why? Who knows.

Yes I can understand that, but what I meant was his career stat line is also incorrect. 7 seasons of points are not listed on the Pro Set card.
So the totals should be 618 GP 227 G 400 A 627 PTS 443 PIM on the career stat line. I believe there are at least 2 UER's on the same card. Give me another 5 minutes and maybe I'll find another one.

I see what you mean, and kindly disregard the above reply. I just checked Gretzky's card and you are correct. The Totals stat line only include stats from the years listed on the back of the cards. I never liked this set to begin with. They say you learn something new every day and unfortunately for me this is the "thing" today ...
