I agree with Dan. Absolutely do not add Owens as a link to the other cards. He is only featured on his individual card and the other cards in the team set would never be known as an Owens card by the backs without owning all of them. The Carter would be easily recognizable as Owens on the back, but Terrell is still not the focus of the cards. None of the other 8 cards should be linked to Terrell Owens. Only the single card with his name on both sides!

I do not agree. Personally, I collect Steve Young (2794). If I know an identical set, I would have to! So, I would need to find out. We are a collector or we are not

I collect several players. There are many cards in those collections where they make a cameo on another player's card. TCDB guidelines say NO to including that player in the linking. The same applies here.
Feel free to add those cards to your collection, but they will not be linked here. That's TCDB's stance.

If we added cameos to cards then checklist would be a mess and PIDs & TIDs would also be crazy. For example, if there was a photo of a QB at the line behind center then we would have to add links to every linemen in the photo. I know I personally don't feel like it's worth spending 5 minutes to do a full cameo link to one card.
I understand the request, but to a normal collector if they saw the back of the the Stokes card for example, they would have no idea that is TO's leg, like Spaz stated. A cool idea you can do that I saw someone else doing (Can't think of the name on top of my head sorry) is doing a 49ers Vs. X team list and collecting cards where the 49ers aren't the team the card's player is on, but shows that the 49ers are going against that player & his team. (EX: Russell Wilson card that shows he's playing against the 49ers)

Yes, I AM a collector. My reply was based on the rules of this site. I completely understand WHY you want the link, but it doesn't fit what TCDB's Admin wants. For examples off the top of my head: I have a Trent Dilfer Collector's Choice card in my Brett Favre collection just because there is a picture of Trent and Brett chatting on the back of the card. I also have a Jeremiah Trotter RC in my Panthers collection because he is tackling my all-time favorite Panthers WR (Muhsin Muhammad). One more: I have a Reggie Smith Topps card from the early 80's in my Ryne Sandberg collection b/c Ryno is in the picture on the front with Smith. I have a whole bunch of other examples from multiple sports. But they still don't show up here in my collections of those specific people or teams.

That's not what i meant. I also have cards with players from San Francisco in the background. But this time it's different because the set of cards represents a single player and that's the main topic. We could mention on Terrell Owens card # 249 that the back of the team set fully represents him.
Because otherwise, how can we know? Who can say who are the other players of the other teams?
Put a link on each player. Ok this is a bad idea but for me you have to add this info. At least, maybe in the "Trivia" section of the collection?

If you do it for one, you need to do it for all of these in this set.

This is correct but I cannot recognize them all. For the Packers, it's Brett Favre
