I would like to know where are these cards numbered? I held them up to the light front and back and I see nothing.

I don't see numbering on them either so I'm guessing whomever created the checklist copied whatever they found on Beckett or elsewhere. I'll be happy to switch the checklist to all NNO cards and alphabetize by last name but wouldn't mind a second opinion to make sure we're right that they don't have any actual card numbers on them.

Beckett has them in alphabetical order and doesn't mention an "L". I looked on COMC's images and don't see any numbering there either.

Yeah, COMC did that thing where they use some kind of abbreviation for the last name they make up instead of an actual card number or NNO.
I'll go ahead and put in the IR to make the fixes I described above. Thanks, Ed! (Also, looks like we need to get rid of the released note that says "The cards are numbered with an "L-" prefix."

I had a hard time finding these numbers as well, but they are there believe it or not. My one card is Brett Favre and the number (L8) is on the reverse side, just above the top right corner of the player image, and straight down underneath the player name. It has to be held just right with light reflecting off it at an angle. It is very hard to see as it blends in very well with all that etching. Hope this helps.

I'm looking at the zoomed-in images on COMC and still can't see any numbers. Can you please provide an image that shows where you're seeing that?

Card in hand is the best way to see them. Once you locate number, then they are a bit easier to spot on COMC. Card # is gold colored, just like the background. They are VERY difficult to see but are there. Posting an image is not going to be very helpful.

Now that I know where to look, I can barely see them but they're there. Argh
Here's #L1. Look directly above the upper right corner of the photo.
