1997 Collector's Edge Extreme Football Forum

I'm having a hard time understanding the difference in the two.  What am I looking for? 

I do not have any of these cards, but I am not sure this set exists. From what I can find it appears as though the Holofoil version might have a different back (no lines)? For example, the John Elway [1] and Tim Brown [2] we have posted here under the regular Finesse version versus some labeled as Holofoil on eBay show a slightly different back [3, 4]. Beckett lists the Holofoil set, but with no details [5]. However, COMC [6] and PSA [7] do not list such cards. Also, the pack image we have here only shows Finesse under the odds [8]. Perhaps someone else can offer more details.

I own the Marcus Allen Holofoil, and one or two others since I am trying to put the set together.  They do exist.  To try and describe it, they have more foil on the back making it difficult to "see through" the card.  This example on TCDB is the Holofoil.  I have been unsuccessful in finding many of these in the wild still.
