If it's like previous years, I would suspect they've shipped them to the restaurants already. It's known that restaurant owners/managers have sold off cases/boxes early in the past years.

I don’t see packs/boxes but a handful of inserts are already up on eBay too.  American here, but I follow these yearly and have a Canadian trade partner I consider a friend that I get packs from yearly.  Seems this happens every year…it’s disappointing to me at least.  Someone always seems to have the inside track.  Whether they are “influencers” breakers, etc.  I’m guessing it’s something legit between either UD or TH where they get the product early.  Now, I’m not thinking selling them early is legit.  I suppose only those intricately involved know for sure.  

Maybe I'm being naive, but I can't see a store manager selling them early.

Assuming pricing doesn't change, its $1 a pack if you buy a coffee, $2 if you don't. 100 packs in a box, this guy is selling the boxes for 180. Assuming he actually paid for them, he wants a profit., so he paid less

Would a manager really risk their job for that, and are Timmies tracking systems so bad they can't figure out they shipped a case to outlet X which then never reported them as sold through their POS system. An employee stealing it is a different matter perhaps.

There is obviously a franchisee who is breaking protocol. I as an online breaker have bought 6 boxes in the past. But this was only during the actual release time. My wife just checked Tims yesterday here in Lloydminster SK and not even signage yet. Whoever is selling now is breaking both THs and the NHLs rules/guidelines.

Promotional signs went up at my neighbourhood outlet this morning, the official launch date is October 2nd.

Then the Tim Hortons stores definitely have had them on-hand awaiting the start.
