1955 Topps Baseball Forum

I only dream of collecting any cards in this set so I withhold judgement on this one, but it seems a variation of #50 Jackie Robinson has been in the discussion in recent months.

For those of you that do collect these vintage cards, do you view this as a variation worthy of inclusion in the database?

Admin might allow this one.  But it's an obvious printing glitch. It's not as if they made a printing plate with third base and the tip of the second base part of the diamond missing.

I don't see why they wouldn't include it. After all, the 1990 Topps Frank Thomas No Name variation is listed, and that was also just a printing error. When sovent spilled on the printing plate effectively causing an error of ink loss, on several cards from that set. But only the 1990 Topps Frank Thomas No Name variation is listed, because his name is not on the card, and the rest of the affected cards, which only lost partial black borders, get no love.
