Tonight's fun game: card #561 (Checklist IV) is listed as a UER on Beckett, Burbank (which took it from Beckett) and a few other sites, but I don't see what's wrong with it. The numbers and names all appear to be OK, everything matches up, no misspellings....so what's the UER?

I'm gonna go with this, and it applies to all 4 checklists. I don't see a copyright line on them anywhere.

Technically, legally speaking a copyright notice is not required. This is especially true for a checklist of just names and numbers.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Maybe they're referring to the Roman numeral notation as the "error", not being the ranges of card numbers, as entered on the back of #561?
i.e. "CHECKLIST IV" =/= "CHECKLIST 421-561"

Nah, they were OK with I, II and III. III had an error for a name misspelling. I'm wondering if an old Beckett mag has the reason...

Well then vice-versa of my argument, the "error" they are pointing out is that card #561 doesn't list the checklist cards as "558 CHECKLIST I", "559 CHECKLIST II", "560 CHECKLIST III" & " 561 CHECKLIST IV" to match what's printed on the front of those cards.
...or, it's just Beckett being "Beckett" :)
