1977 Topps Football Forum

I was updating my '77 Topps Football collection and I noticed that there is a "Mail-in" set listed for the "Team Checklists". These were offered as a mail in rebate by sending $.50 and 1 wrapper. The checklist shows the cards numbered from #1 - #28. The few scans that exist for the "mail-in" set show the actual cards numbered #201 - #228. Here's an example card.

The base set also has "Team Checklists" that are numbered #201 - #228. I don't find any differences when I compare the scans from the base set to the insert set. Here's the same card as above in the base set.

Is this a double listing of theses cards or is their a difference between the two "Team Checklists" subsets?

Second issue, the checklist is numbered 1-28. The uploaded images make it appear that the cards are numbered like the base set; 201-229. Is one right and one wrong or is there a numbering rule I'm overlooking?

Looks to be numbered incorrectly. 

And the Chargers one shows the lighter back very clearly.

So like previous mail-in checklists, these would be on much thinner card stock. I double-checked my Raiders checklilst. It's not thin card stock so I'll have to ask for the images to be removed.

The Chargers checklist uploaded by PSAbolts has a much lighter background.  We'll have to ask him if it's a real mail-in checklist.

I went through all of mine and they all seem to be regular card stock. There's one that might be thinner, but it's not really noticeable. Id like to see/feel a comparison.
