1995 Star Image Anaheim Fire Non-Sport Forum

Can anyone supply more images to this checklist ?   15 cards, I was able to enter 3 of them.

Hi, I have a few questions, would you be able to help?

I see from the images that were uploaded, there are numbers on them.  What information that was found suggests that these were un-numbered?

I see from the images that were uploaded, these may have been distributed by a company called Star Image.  Should this be included in the set title?

I see from the images that were uploaded, there is a logo for the Anaheim Memorial Hospital.  Would this have been released with more than one sponsor?  Should there be multiple sets expected to be found similar to the way other police and fire sets that have been released in other parts of the country?  Would there be a set considered to be the base set and the Anaheim Memorial Hospital set should be a parallel to it? 

Sets with this many TBA/TBD should NOT be added to the site. More research should have been done before uploading that garbage checklist.

And even in 2022, you still can't get a straight scan?

I did not see the numbers within the stars.

I do not think we need to add Star Image into the title,

I search the InterNet, this is the only set, no checklist to be found anywhere, just a few newspaper articles back in 1995 to read. 

Dan, take my  700,000 points away, I know you hate me.   FYI, I started the  Non-Sports, Multi-Sports and Misc, Sports categories and added the bulk of those checklists back in the day.   YOU are a real pain, in future keep your negative comments to yourself. I am pretty sure it is not worth fighting with you, as you are ALWAYS right and everyone else is either wrong or useless.

Based on how the fronts are branded the set name should be "1995 Star Image Anaheim Fire"

It boggles my mind how you can be on this site for so long, yet still do things that are contrary to the sites rules and guidelines. Even after being told that you're doing so. Incomplete sets (with only 3 known out of 15 cards) and crooked scans both go against the sites R&G, yet here we are discussing them because in one set, you managed to do both. Your scans you used to blame on them "being old, I scanned them back in 2011", etc. It's 2022. No excuses. So why is every one of the 6 scans you added today crooked and showing black around the edge? You claim to care about doing great things fpr the site, and I don't dispute the good things that you have done, but there are some things that you have done that makes it look like you really don't care about the site. The entirety of what you did with this set being one of the negative examples.

Sorry, I call it as I see it, and I don't tiptoe around the issue. I know I'm not the only one who sees it this way, but maybe I'm the only one with enough intestinal fortitude to state it.

I guess this is your site.  You can cancel my login and password.  I will NEVER contribute to the site again.  How many people have you driven away from the site.  You are a real piece of work.

Those scans are something else. It is 2022 and Dan is right there is zero reason to not have a straight scan. Tons of free platforms for everyone to use. I don't care who has been here forever and who is new. ADMIN has set up rules and guidelines to follow so who cares when you got here, the rules are clear. I know there will be push back towards members like Dan and C2C and other old heads when they are not doing something that has come from ADMIN.
