Since there was an IR sent through to delete my scan of the Embossed LeBron James card (which I denied) I realized that people probably don't know how to tell the base and Embossed rookies apart via scans. So, a brief education:
(please excuse the general crappyness of the scanner I was using at the time)
This is the base card. It's completely smooth, and there is NO foil on the front anywhere.
This is the Embossed card. The embossing does not show up in scans, but note that it has Silver foil on the top right and bottom left corner. The rookies in this level 1 parallel are ONLY Embossed, NOT Die Cut.
This is the Gold parallel. Note that the circle and the rookie lettering is now gold ink instead of silver. The rookies in the gold set ARE die cut, and feature Gold foil on the top right and bottom left corners. The Gold set, which I decribe as a level 2 parallel, are exclusive to the rookies, there are no gold die cuts for the veteran players.
The foils generally scan as black but are quite noticable in hand. Unfortunately I do not have the Gold LeBron to show.
VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
