Really? Pick any consonants from a word and make it an official acronym that no one would recognize? I thought we had settled on "TM" as the acronym for teammates. Or is all that work that 4 members did to be ignored by some who think they are holier than thou?
This is just one example of a problem that has been growing in the past year - some who think they know better than everyone else and doing things without asking others' opinions. For me, it has been a real turn off from contributing on this site as much I used to do.

Looking at the Change Log it looks like "TMTS" has been on that checklist at least since 2015.
I personally think "TM" should not be used for Teammates since "TM" is universal for Trademark.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Change log shows that TMTS was added as the abbreviation in this set, six years ago. Looks like the committee of four missed something.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Chuck, we have 18 different things that use the acronym "TM". My problem with TMTS is it does not make sense. If I have to look up an acronym because it is not reasonable obvious as to what it might be, then it should not be used. I went through the change log and see that things are being changed back and forth depending on any member's liking. That is the real problem.

I don't get why every subset needs to have an acronym in the first place especially if its noted in note 1 or 2 what it is, but that's just my opinion. As for the card, it says Teammates on the card in the first place so the acronym shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Looking at the other teammates cards in the subsets, I think (again my opinion) the names on the front of the card should be what the card is listed as instead of the players on the cards, which could easily be linked to the cards.

The person that originally used TMTS was on the site for 3 months when they did that. The fact that no one has really noticed or said anything for the last 5 and a half years shows that no one else really cares or no one really looked at that set.
There are many things that seem to be going back and forth. There are some members who do seem to want to do things their own way. A certain member keeps adding extraneous stuff to Note2 (even after being asked to stop doing that), and when I see it, I strip it out. Other members don't know how to format the Name field when it's a multi-player card. There are several cards that have gone back and forth on that.
Billy, I'm not sure what sets and work you're talking about, but I do know there are some sets that I left alone because you asked me to - even though they do not match Admin's request for set formats. The committee did ZERO without Admin's permission and blessing. The entire document was run past Admin, Admin made a few requests for edits, the committee discussed them, understood the reasons for those, and made the edits before Admin posted it.

Teenage Mutant Turtle Sisters, one of the most famous failed spinoff serieses (serii?) in history. What else could it be?
