Good point, the sets devoted to a single act have dried up. But I'm also/primarily talking about sets like Panini Smash Hits or a deck of playing cards like this set, issued like sports sets with a variety of players/acts. Those had always been issued pretty sporadically, but they have practically vanished since 1999. Until very recently, I guess, when the card corporations finally decided to exploit contemporary music again, country music at least, mostly via the ridiculous gimmick of artificial scarcity and the deranged autograph fetish. (Can you tell I despise the current state of the hobby, lol?)
