After looking at IRs, It appears that the minis have different numbering than the base set. It looked like the problem went through the parallels as well.

I personally haven't opened any of the product. It was multiple people who posted they have different numbers. So I was trying to start a thread rather than having a thousand IRs.

Agree. The checklist - both base and mini - seems to be off for at least one of the cards that I pulled. I did open an IR though...

I put through all the necessary IR's in the A&G back mini variation (as it was a clean set to work with). It looks like there's approximately 20 minis with wrong card numbers. I opened a half case and can verify this is true across all mini versions.

I think Cardboard Connection put out a checklist that accounted for that. Might have been deliberate in printing. If someone wants to dig around Topps.com I'm sure they have an official checklist.

The checklist was created post-production. If you check the Document Properties, the checklist was created on 16 November, the same day as release. Maybe they discovered the errors and created/updated the checklist to reflect it.

Sure enough, Topps intentionally made some of the mini cards numbers different from the base set. You can see their mini checklist here - https://www.topps.com/media/pdf/2022ToppsAllenGinterChecklist.pdf. This seems like a Panini move, crazy!

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Let's not forget there is a Ginter Code (that still exists right?)

Well, I don’t believe the 2020 Ginter code was ever solved, not sure it even happened in 2021.
