Hello, all!
I recently noticed that there was no checklist added for 2022 Donruss baseball.
I understand it requires a lot of time/effort to do these things. Please note that I'm not trying to boss anybody around in any way. Just making sure everybody is aware that this set does not have a checklist so this issue can be fixed.
Thanks, jdogg1228 :)

Missing this checklist isn't an "issue". A Panini product being missing won't break my heart
Kidding aside, someone is probably working it, but it's a Panini product so may take 20 years to get it right

You are right though... I pulled so many parallels/variations and even autos I lost track.
With all seriousness, I would like to see the checklist sooner rather than later but no biggie. Like you mentioned, with this being a panini set, this could take years!

The 2022 Donruss Racing CL's aren't posted yet either and that came out 2 weeks before the baseball set. The people that want to handle the Donruss sets are surely working on it. But it takes a lot of work to get just the base set listed in the right order due to how Panini lists the cards on their site. I quit trying to make the Donruss Racing lists after the 2019 set b/c it just takes so much time to compile correctly. VAR's are a big hang-up too as you usually have to actually see them first to know what to put in the notes besides the vague Panini description.

I recently purchased a few packs of the '22 Donruss. When adding the cards on this site I cannot find the Retro cards listed other than Relics, etc... have I overlooked them?

The retro cards are just base cards. You will find them on the base checklist from 231-280.

You know, the state of the hobby is getting so chaotic with regard to companies releasing checklists, has there been any discussion about adapting to the environment?
I know that the rule is that it needs to be a complete checklist when uploaded, which I generally agree with and support, but there have been exceptions made when there is no good or complete information on a set such as the Topps Buybacks.
Panini is getting worse and then you have such nonsense as the mess Wild Card is releasing, not to mention "Living Sets" and other on-demand cards that have no set end or release schedule.
Could we develop something that shows on the checklist page for a set and the Browse Sets lists that indicates it is incomplete/partial due to the insufficient information available?
I can see where this could get abused by people who just upload a partial list out of laziness, but at the same time, it would also make it clear that the set is being actively worked on and would give TCDB users a heads-up about the difficulties of the set at first glance.
I'm not sure what I'm saying here is exactly what is in my head, but does this make sense?

Turning off trading because my collection is in complete disarray after moving and I don't know when I can get it organized.

I think the last year of Donruss I collected was 2019, and it took a while to get the VARs sorted out. I haven't collected any Donruss since. I got tired of the lack of logos and team names.
