Does anyone know how to distinguish the "Hobby" from the base set for these cards?  Also, is the Hobby parallel only available for the high series?

I've not found that a hobby parallel exists. It isn't mentioned on the official literature. All I see is this line: 

• (32) Hobby EXCLUSIVE Parallels in Every Box!

Maybe that is where the Gold versions come in as I have about that many gold parallels from the High and Low Series hobby boxes.

Some of the older sets have A thicker stock for the hobby. Check that out to see if that helps.

The more I look at the cards I have and talk to others locally, the more I'm convinced that there isn't actually a distinct Hobby parallel distinguishable from the Base set.  I think the cardboard connection description of "Parallels: Hobby (2 per pack)" actually refers to certain parallel cards that are only available in the Hobby packs (perhaps the gold parallels as supergajit suggests).

It really wouldn't make sense otherwise.  Why would SAGE sell Hobby boxes with only 2 Hobby cards per pack?  They almost have to be talking about the Hobby exclusive parallels rather than a distinct Hobby parallel of the base set.

I'm trying to identify two cards in this set and I'm at a loss.

First I have a Drake London Artistry- ART-DL2, it's got a thicker stock and does not match visually with the Gold version I have. It almost looks like a copper, but I don't know if there is a Copper version. I kind of recall the box saying it but that's fuzzy now. It reminds me of an UD Canvas card.

I also have a Peak Performance Deven Thompkins PK-DT that looks Gold/Copper but doesn't have an SN so I don't believe its Gold.

Are these two part of the Hobby Parallel? Hoping someone might have some guidance. Appreciate it.
