Seems like this needs to be repeated every month at this point because people don't pay attention. 10 years of this, and now with the 2021 release, it's happening again!
BASE CHECKLIST IS HOBBY (HOLOFOIL).
PLAIN WHITE RETAIL IS LISTED AS A PARALLEL.
Please stop uploading plain white retail to the main checklist!

And just like last year the same mistake made. Retail, the most common and bought, should have been made the Base set.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

So crazy question, and I'm sure this has been asked before. While entering a lot of FB traders I had I saw these listings in 2012. Hobby and Retail were separated. I don't know the circumstances as to why they are listed as such. It could be that they have unique inserts with no commonality (from what I see), whereas the neest Panini sets may have crossover.

If I recall (if I'm wrong others may correct me) for the 2012 Strata there were some picture variants between the two sets as well as the fact of card thickness. The Hobby version was a thicker card stock like the thickness for relic cards and the Retail version was standard thickness.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42

The base set also includes a rookie subset called Rookie Premiere Materials Autographs. I believe this rookie subset can only be found in hobby packs. Which is why we list all retail cards as a parallel.

Yes, many members said the same thing last year, but were ignored. And BigEd was warned this wrong image problem was going to continue because of it.

Hobby has always had precedence over Retail on this site. Better quality >>> cheaper quality
The only way you might solve the problem is to go back to separate set listings for Hobby and Retail, but then all the shared inserts would have to be crosslinked.

I don't know how to fix it or if it even needs fixed, but the Total Cards showing for the base set is 200, but there are extra cards that aren't part of the Retail set. The master set shows the correct total unless I'm missing something but that wouldn't be a shocker.

Sorry, just saw a comment above that addressed this already.
