I've had these things for ages. I would guess that I got them sometime between 2003 and 2008. I can't even remember exactly where or when I got them. They were either given out somehwere (some nature center I happened to be at in that timeframe) or they were possibly mailed directly from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources with pins I got for catching a large bluegill and bass or maybe even something else entirely.
The biggest question is what the heck are the other 12 cards? I don't have a checklist card and I can't find mention of these things anywhere online. I'd like to add them in the database, assuming nobody has a reason to object, but I don't want to add just half a checklist. Guess I would need to estimate a release year too, huh?
Anyway, does anyone happen to have any of the missing 12 or know anything more about these? If nothing else, maybe somewill else will atleast be amused by their existence.

My Lake Erie sense tells me there is a walleye card out there somewhere.

I collect fish cards and would trade for them or even buy them for the right price if interested.

They are nice cards but do they have a trademark or copyright?

I don't see any trademark or copyright notice on them.
I'm going to try emailing the Ohio Division of Wildlife and see if they know anything about them. I'll also ask if they have any still lying around. If they're able to send me some extras, I'll get in touch with you, pjdionne12. No promises I'll hear anything back at all, though.

I thought we had discussed these before, but it turns out I was thinking of a similar set from Arkansas:
That was a little over a year ago, but at that time all I found was the same Listia entry that cardcollector65jw linked above.

I also saw that Listia picture, but it unfortunately seems to only be cards I already have. Good to have proof that others are floating out there, though.
And interesting to see that other states were also putting out fish cards! Hopefully I'm able to add these to the database soon as well

I heard back. Here's the reply I got:
"We do not offer them anymore. In fact we have discontinued that art work a long time ago and we do not have any way to reproduce them. I was not around when we printed them and I cannot answer any of your questions really."
Oh well, it was worth asking.

I did find it interesting that both the Ohio and Arkansas sets have the same "Sport Fish Restoration" logo somewhere on them.
