The Star Wars Return of the Jedi Authentic 70mm Film Cel cards.
I've looked and couldn't find any page on your site.
They were release in 1997. 14 cards (#S1, #1-#13).
Please let me know if you have any information on these cards asap.
Thanks.
Ed

The website is crowd sourced, meaning any checklist information is supplied by the members. If you have searched for the cards and can not find them you can submit an IR, including the year and set and a complete checklist.

OP submitted an IR for this set, and then when I asked for a checklist, sent it to me via message. Before I create the set and checklist, however...this is what these look like. I know nothing about them. Are they considered trading cards? I think they are but something just strikes me as being...off.
Also, there is a 13 card checklist, and then one Special Edition card. I assume we will list the Special Edition card as a single insert.
Star Wars is not my forte, so I want this out on the boards before I take action.

Nec Aspera Terrent I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I remember these cool little things, good times. I never thought of them as trading cards in the least though. Film cells framed by a little informational matte.....

Looks like a collectible, not really a trading card

Maybe that's what bothers me about them. They're just so...not card-like. Like they were meant to be a novelty collectible (as Ed pointed out) as opposed to a trading card.
Does anyone know who manufactured them?

It looks like an over-sized card (maybe 2.5" x 7'?) with a unique "MEM" swatch in each one (MEM = Film piece).
Let's be honest with ourselves here, they look a lot more like cards than some other stuff that's been allowed here. I'm actually in favor of these being added. (much to the surprise of many, probably)

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).
