2021 Topps Baseball Forum

Anyone working on the Topps Series 2 checklist?  I see most if not all of the variations have been found (according to beckett).  Didn't want to step on anyones toes, but also would like to get the checklist in to update my collection.

Also I noticed that Series 1 had the Base image noted for base cards with variations, is that what we're doing now?  

Haha, thats funny! Lastnight I tried getting on to add my series 2 cards I had just gotten to add to my collection here and was wondering the same thing. 

Yep. Same. Bought my series 2 jumbo box from my LCS Friday and have been itching to enter them ever since. 

What autos/relic cards did you guys get? I got stuck with a Joey Bart manufactured relic 

I splurged for a hobby and jumbo box. Auto wasn't much. Jonah Heim '86 (got Tyler Stephenson out of my S1 box, so I'm cornering the market on average Rookie catcher autos). Got a Zimmerman WS ring mfg relic /199 and a Piazza 86 AS MFG relic black /199. I also got a sketch card of somebody on the Giants--yaz I think. I also pulled the Ripken And Musial SPs. 
 

Enjoyed both rips although neither produced anything overly exciting. 

Forgive me if this is a dumb question,  why is the base set still at 330, and everything in Series 2 counted as part of the Master Set?

Someone has to tell Admin to fix the set count.

Yea it's weird.  My base set number says I'm 193% complete.  I splurged on a hobby box and the relic I got was a Sam Huff rookie patch.  All I wanted to do was get as far along as I could with the base set.  I did get a Hank Aaron short print.

Because it's a set in the Major Release category, only Admin can adjust the Total Cards in the set (as well as some other properties of the set itself). If there is an IR in place, requesting the total cards to be adjusted to include Series 2, Admin will handle that soon.

I can also imagine the amount of messages we would see if we had been proactive and listed the total at 660 to begin with when the checklist for only Series 1 was available. Can't win.
